People at ACE
The teams at ACE include autistic people, parents, carers, researchers, clinicians, educators, and employers, all determined to improve autistic people’s quality of life.
The ambassadors know from personal experience the urgent need for better, evidence-based care for autistic people. They are using their public platforms and networks to help raise awareness and funds for ACE.
The Board of Trustees plays a critical role in making sure ACE maintains its level of professionalism and excellence; while the Executive team oversees all daily tasks and logistics. Together, they manage and administer the organisation in close liaison with the Development board and Specialist advisors.
ACE advisory board
This broad group of autistic people, family members, employers, researchers and clinicians are integral to the development of ACE. Ongoing consultation will identify the needs of autistic people, which will shape research and services.
A growing network of companies, charities, schools and public sector agencies are supporting and working with ACE.
ACE believes in the value of autistic people and the contribution they can make to society, while also recognising the difficulties many face. Together, we can ensure that the right, evidence-based support is made available to autistic people and their families.
The Autism Centre of Excellence at Cambridge (ACE) is a science-led campaigning charity working closely with Cambridge University’s Autism Research Centre. Our aim is to improve access to high quality support and remove barriers and stigma for autistic people.
